Site/Page Title

The page title is the one you enter when creating a page.

• You’ll see it in the page list and at the top of the editor.

• It is not a visible element on the website but is stored in the HTML tag <title>.

• This title is SEO-relevant: It appears in the browser tab and in Google search results.

• Recommendation: max. 50–60 characters.

Important: Even though you see it in the editor, it will not be visible on the website. It is an internal title.

Visible Title

If you want a title to be visible on the website, you must create a separate H1 element.

• This is the main title of your page.

• It should contain the main keyword.

• Recommendation: max. 60 characters.

Search engines usually cut off titles after about 60 characters. That’s fine if the title adds relevance, but it can have visual consequences.
